Board of Review Training This Monday

Board of Review training Monday, Dec 2 at 7:15, for any adult in the troop that hasn't taken it.  With this training the adult can be on a            Board of Review for all the scout rank.  The troop needs more adults to have this training.

Austin (Ace) Lindsey's Eagle Scout Project

This Eagle Project is to renovate a section of the courtyard garden at Richardson North Junior High. The project will include removing dirt from the existing garden and replacing it with mulch and compost as well as installing 6 garden boxes (2 of which will be handicap accessible.) The project will benefit the Science and Special Education departments at Richardson North Junior High as both plan to use the garden for educational purposes.

Flags In for Veterans Day - Nov 16

Money Monday for Zip Lining Campout

Please register and pay through the troop website for the Purtis Creek and zip lining camp out by 6 p.m. Monday. After 6 p.m., you scout will move to a waiting list until we know if we have enough drivers.

Camp Report - Chickasaw National Rec Area

Our second campout at Chickasaw National Recreation Area was an amazing campout. The weather was great, even though it was predicted to be rainy. This campout was a great opportunity for scouts to both learn and practice their orienteering skills with our orienteering course.               

Friends & Family Ski Trip - Deposit Due 11/4!

We are in phase two of ski trip planning! The trip is scheduled for December 27 – 31 with an optional extra night. We have selected Monarch Mountain, Colorado. The costs include lodging at max occupancy/four per room, student lift tickets, ski rentals and all taxes. It does not include adult lift tickets, lessons, helmets or snowboards.

If you are interested in the trip, we need one person per family to complete the survey and pay the $100 per person deposit via the troop website by 6 p.m., November 4. We will provide final costs and payment schedule the second week of November. Please feel free to invite family/friends by forwarding the survey.
