Drew Baker Eagle Project GoFundMe

Posted on May 6 2025 - 1:06pm

My name is Drew Baker, and I am raising funds for my Eagle Scout Service Project. The goal of my project is to improve and expand the sitting and viewing area next to the sand volleyball court outside the youth building of Dallas Bible Church. The area is currently poorly sloped towards the walI and has broken benches. I will be constructing an elevated crushed granite base with a wooden retaining wall for new, longer lasting furniture to be permanently set into. My project will help Dallas Bible Church, specifically the members of the youth group, as it will transform the area surrounding the volleyball court into a more suitable area for youth to spend time outside and with friends during youth events and throughout the week. This will be especially important in the coming spring and summer months as kids are far more eager to spend time outside. Please consider supporting my project and donate here.

Luke Lewis Eagle Project GoFundMe

Posted on May 6 2025 - 12:53pm

My name is Luke Lewis, and I am raising money in order to fund my Eagle Project for Troop 1001. My Eagle Project will be a culmination of some of the things I love about scouts; tradition, reverence, and loyalty. I will be building two flag retirement boxes to post at Richardson Fire Station #1 and the Richardson City Offices. I need your help to fund my Eagle project. If you're able, please donate to the GoFundMe at this link!

Reminder: Troop Code of Conduct

Posted on May 6 2025 - 12:53pm
This is a reminder that the troop has a formal, written Code of Conduct and that all scouts and parents need to be familiar with it.

A summary of the Troop 1001 Code of Conduct is printed each year in the Troop handbook (usually distributed at the annual kickoff parent meeting, often held at Group Dynamix). These handbooks are available throughout the year in the Troop room at Trinity Bible.

This more complete and detailed version of the Code of Conduct is available for reference online here: Conduct. It is subject to change as needed based on BSA policy or policy documentation needs.
