Taking place October 25 - 27

The October campout is now camping at Chickasaw National Recreation Buckhorn Loop C instead of Raney’s Ranch (moved to April).  Don’t forget to register by 6 p.m., Money Monday, October 21 to  avoid the waiting list. Registration is open, permission slip is posted, bring $15 to your patrol leader for food. Adults, please remember to include the number of open seat belts when you register.

Calling all Scouts, Scouters and Parents/Guardians! Fall weather and the holiday season will be here soon. TBC needs your help with maintenance, repair, and improvement tasks, including electrical and painting around the building. There will be plenty of projects for the skilled and unskilled alike. The retrospective on the Troop's recent campout from our historian, Mr. Nick Foshee.....

Our first camp out at Kerr Scout ranch was a blast. We were blessed with the beautiful scenery all around us and the weather. This camp out we were very focused on working on and building relationships with in our patrols. With cooking competitions and patrol time scouts got to know each other and there patrol leaders.

While out there scouts were able to hike rainbow rock as well as climb through it. Everyone was also able to enjoy a day on the water with canoeing and kayaking. We also had an adventure down at slippery falls, and some boys enjoyed learning how to and participating in a bit of fishing. All in all great first camp out guys.
