We are cleaning and updating the scout room and shed and need a volunteers to help clean out the miscellaneous supplies and memorabilia that we've accumulated over the years.

Be sure to pick up your copy of the NEW EDITION of our Troop 1001 Troop Handbook. This book provides excellent explanations of how your Scout’s Patrol and the Troop operate. The Troop Handbook is written for Scouts and parents, and it is updated each year with new, current information. Be sure to pick up the new 2022-2023 edition.

We need a certified climbing instructor to run the climbing tower at the campout coming up October 22nd.  If you are certified and willing to help, please contact Cary Slobin at cslobin@yahoo.com for details.

It's almost time for the Troop 1001 lock-in at GDX! Read below for items needed to attend.

Each participant will need to complete the online waiver (or in the case of minors, the waiver must be completed by a parent or legal guardian): https://groupdynamix.com/waiver/.

Each participant will also need to print and fill out the Troop 1001 permission slip attached below and bring it to GDX.

We will also have a parent meeting at 7 PM that will be full of information for the upcoming year, please join us!
