Summer Camp Important Reminders — ACTION REQUIRED

Final deadline to turn in the Medical Forms part A, B and most importantly Part C (which requires the doctor's signature) is Monday June 3 during the parent/committee meeting.
 
Summer camp final payment is past due. If you have any outstanding dues, you can bring your check to the meeting on Monday June 3.

PLC Retreat Date Change - June 14-15

The dates for the PLC Retreat/Annual Planning Conference in June have changed. We needed to push back a week due to some scheduling conflicts. Please note that the new dates are June 14-15. We will still be meeting at Camp Wisdom. An agenda will be circulated in advance. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Mr. Otte via e-mail at scoutmaster@troop1001.org.

Flags In - THIS SATURDAY

If you have never put out or retrieved flags with Troop 1001, you are missing out on one of the best service opportunities Troop 1001 supports and promotes.  In addition to creating significant funding/proceeds to the troop, putting out and retrieve flags during Memorial Day and other major U.S. holidays is a wonderful experience for scouts and their parents.  Just show up if you haven't done it before and we'll show you the ropes and you'll have a TON of fun.
 
Please use the hyperlink below to sign up to participate in the Memorial Day Flags In fundraiser for Troop 1001.  Funds raised help reduce troop annual dues for everyone as well as defray costs for troop supplies and activities.  Thank you in advance for your support of Troop 1001.

Ford Lorenz Eagle Project - PHASE II - Memorial Day, 1:00-5:00pm

May Campout @ the USS Lexington

The Troop is going to camp on a real US Aircraft Carrier!

May 24-27, 2019

Form up is Friday at 10:45PM.  The bus will be leaving at 11:45 PM. We will depart from the Methodist Hospital parking lot (across Campbell from TBC). If you are an adult that is going on the trip, please be aware that we cannot leave any cars parked at Trinity Bible Church over the weekend.
