Troop 1001 awards its 217th Eagle Scout Rank to Zach Garfield

Congratulations to Zach Garfield for earning his Eagle Scout Rank! He is number 217 on the Troop's Eagle Honor Roll. A huge THANK YOU to those serving on Zach's Eagle Board of Review committee!

Eagle Scout Court of Honor - Chad Howard and Nick Fooshee - Sunday March 17 at 3PM

Lost Pines Camp - Registration is active through March 18

There will be an optional parent meeting on Monday, March 4 at 7:00pm.

June 2-8, 2024
  • Presentation Link will be posted on Monday, 3/4
  • April 15 @ 8am: Parents will use Parent Portal credentials to select merit badges
    • April 8 @ 7pm: Training on how to use Parent Portal.
  • April: Swim Check at JCC (details being finalized)
  • April 29: Required Paperwork due
  • Payments
    • March 18: $350 YOUTH Payment (will be sent to Lost Pines)
    • March 18: $175 ADULT Payment (will be sent to Lost Pines)
    • May 1: Final Payment
      • ~$50-100 to Troop: Transportation, Gas, Travel Meals, Quartermaster Supplies, etc.
      • $TBD to Lost Pines: Fees for Merit Badges

Okpik Doglsed Trek 2025: ONE spot available!

One of the hottest high adventure treks available!  We have one opening remaining for the Okpik doglsed trek for January 3-6, 2025. If you're interested, contact Kelly Vinton (kelly.vinton@sbcglobal.net or 214 507 0368) for details.  Estimated cost is roughly $1750 +/-.

Summer 2025 Scuba Trek - Need more participants

The summer 2025 Scuba trek needs more participants.  Info can be found HERE. 
$325 due at the time of registration before 2/28/24 - if we don't get more interest, we'll have to drop the trek.
