Monday night meeting and special invitation to a remembrance of 9/11 for adults not attending meeting.

The meeting September 11th gives us time to reflect on the challenges of the last few years.

A performance of remembrance will be held at The Unity Church of Richardson and Spiritual Fitness Center are honoring Richardson Fire Department Explorer Post 991 with a multi-media 9/11 inspirational program on Monday September 11, 2006 at the church’s location - 1237 Executive Drive E, Richardson, Texas 75081 – 972.690.1887. All adults that are not staying for our regular meeting to plan the campout should consider attending this performance. If your schedule will not allow you to attend please consider donating to the BSA Explorer Post. Troop 1001 Scouts will have a collection boot when you are dropping off your scout for those that cannot attend the performance.

Monday night is a patrol corner meeting. We are going to go over the campout schedule and plan our menus. The adult patrol advisors should plan on sitting with their patrols to assist in planning for the campout.

Each patrol should have a name and a cheer or song. Work on patrol flags should also be underway.

The new chuckboxes will be presented at Monday's meeting. Mr. R will be going over the proper care and handling of the new boxes.

David C's Eagle Scout project is on September 9th and 10th at the Richardson Animal Shelter off Apollo Road and Plano Road. Volunteers are needed! Two deep adult leadership is required.
