Boy Scout Troop 1001

The meeting September 11th is a patrol corner meeting. We are going to go over the campout schedule and plan our menus. The adult patrol advisors are going to sit with the patrols this week to assist in planning.

The new chuckboxes will be presented next meeting. An Assistant Scoutmaster will be going over the proper care and handling of the new boxes.

On the subject of Scout discipline, there is a new 3 strike penalty. First strike and your patrol leader talks to you about the issue; if there is a second strike you get to speak to Kane, the senior patrol leader. On the rare occasion there is a 3rd strike you will discuss the problem with the Scoutmaster.

David C's Eagle Scout project is on September 9th and 10th at the Richardson Animal Shelter off Apollo Road and Plano Road. We are building a goat shelter. Volunteers are needed!

A collection boot will be in the parking lot when Scouts arrive to take collection for the Richardson Fire Department Ranger Unit. Bring money to donate.

Make sure you speak to your patrol leader or attend a patrol meeting before Monday night.
