Boy Scout Troop 1001

Next week is going to be fun while still posing a challenge. Labor Day weekend always presents a question to the troop. Do we meet on a national holiday?

An emphatic Yes! Most folks will be back in town by 7:00pm so we expect to have high attendance as we did this week.

The theme of the next meeting is cooking. All scouts should come prepared to learn about new menus and methods of cooking meals in the wilderness. The format will be round robin with each patrol hosting a section.

Each scout should communicate with his patrol leader this week to see if a responsibility is assigned for the meeting.

Each patrol will have a meeting this week. Flags, Cheers, Songs and Yells should be on each meeting’s agenda. Be creative. Have Fun. See you Monday.
