Boy Scout Troop 1001

Help the leadership prepare for the August 19 kickoff and work on program planning for the year.  All parents: the troop needs your help and involvement.  Meet at Trinity Bible Church at 7:00 p.m.

From the scoutmaster:

Greetings all 1001 Scouters,

There will be a 1 hour planning meeting Monday night at 7pm at the Church. The purpose of the meeting is to assign responsibilities for the August through November scout events. We need to make sure we have trained adults willing to assist with these upcoming events. The climbing and COPE course requires a minimum of two trained adults. If we do not provide them, we will have to hire them. We also need to make sure that we have trained adults in other areas. Please bring your calendar and plan to volunteer some time.

Here is the plan for the first half of the scout year:
August - Teamworks
September - Slippery Falls, climbing
October - Raneys Ranch, shooting sports, fishing
November - Camp Cherokee - COPE, Climbing
December - Court of Honor
