Troop Meetings

Troop meetings are held Monday nights at Trinity Bible Church from 7 pm to 8:30 pm except during the summer months and the Monday immediately following each campout. There are also sometimes exceptions for holidays.

After each troop meeting, the Patrol Leader Council holds a brief planning meeting which usually concludes about 9 pm. Patrol leaders, members of the Senior patrol and some other scouts in leadership positions are expected to attend.

Campouts

  • Campout: Quail Alley
    April 16, 2010 (5:30 pm) - April 18, 2010 (12:30 pm)
    Troop 1001 makes its annual visit to Quail Alley, the ranch owned by former Scoutmaster Mr. Ken Raney. Stay tuned to this web site for details.

    Troop 1001 again spends a week at Hale Scout Reservation near Talihina, Oklahoma
  • Philmont Treks
    June 17, 2010 (8:00 am) - July 01, 2010 (4:00 pm)
    Our Trek dates are June 19, 2010 to June 30, 2010 plus travel and pre/post trek activities.  Based on past experience, expect to depart Richardson on June 17, 2010 and return on July 1, 2010. The Troop has 24 total available slots in two separate trail crews. See Philmont Treks 2010 for more information.

Patrol Leader Council (PLC) Meetings
