Campout Cancelled;
CoH Moved to TBC!

Inclement weather has forced us to modify plans. The campout is canceled so that we can move the Court of Honor to a location that will be more comfortable for family members.

The dinner and Court of Honor will be held on schedule but relocated to Trinity Bible Church. Dinner will be at 5:30 pm and the Court of Honor will begin at 7 pm.

We would appreciate everyone revisiting Evite and updating their RSVP so we can adjust food quantities appropriately.

Troop 1001 cordially invites you and your family to its spring Court of Honor, Saturday, December 15, 2007. The catered dinner will be served at 5:30 pm with Court of Honor following at 7 pm. Parents, siblings, and extended family are invited to celebrate the Scouts' achievements and join in fun and fellowship with all the people who are part of Troop 1001.

The event will be held at the "Fort Tejas" facility in the Hoblitzelle Conference Center in Midlothian Trinity Bible Church in Richardson. For driving directions, click here.

Macaroni Grill will cater. Dinner cost: $8.00 per person, payable at the door (checks preferred). Children under 10: no charge. (Note: dinner for scouts and scouters is included in their $10 camp fee, to be collected at the troop meeting, "Money Monday", Dec 10.)

BSA RanksWe need all RSVPs by Wednesday, December 12 to provide a headcount for the caterer. If you did not receive an "Evite" invitation by email for this event, please visit the Evite web site and tell us how many guests to expect.

Tips to help you help us:

  • A 'Yes' or 'No' response is much more helpful for planning than a 'Maybe.' Give us your best guess and go back to the Evite site to change it later if necessary.
  • Be sure to include the number of guests who will be eating dinner in your RSVP. Let us know how many of those are kids in the comments box.
  • If your family has received an invitation at multiple email addresses, please respond from only one address so you are not counted twice.
  • No RSVP is necessary if you will be attending the Court of Honor but not eating dinner.

We look forward to your company Saturday.
