Boy Scout Troop 1001

December 14 is the next campout. This campout is the capture the flag campout, and it is also the Court of Honor. Because this is the Court of Honor, every Scout must bring his FULL Class A, including a belt and neckerchief. Parents will be coming, so we all want to try to look good.

December 3, next Monday, is the closing date for any advancement. If you need to get a scoutmaster conference or a board of review, you need to get with Mr. Coon before the meeting is over.

Along with advancing, next meeting will be focused mainly on working on patrol yells, flags, and songs. At the end of the meeting, every patrol will present all of those things. If your patrol is finished with that, then your patrol will start on designing its derby car.

Remember to work on any last-minute advancement. It looks good in front of parents to have a lot of badges being awarded.
