Proof of current YPT will be required in order to participate in Troop Campouts.
Youth Protection Training (YPT) is an essential course if you plan to work with the Scouts or participate in the Outdoor Program. We are tracking adult leader YPT status and need proof of YPT completion for our records. This certification must be renewed every two years.
We need a copy of your YPT completion card or a printout of your online YPT certificate before you attend campouts or work directly with the Scouts. Please bring this to any Monday Troop or Committee meeting so we can update your status. This can also be turned in on Friday, before we leave for a campout, when each adult leader's status will be verified.
YPT can be taken or renewed online in 30-45 minutes. Click the following link to take YPT online. Youth Protection Training - Online.
