Be Prepared!
Remember:
- Permission form, signed by your parent
- $10 for your patrol's food plus $10 more for supplies and Saturday dinner (if not already paid).
- Check the weather forecast
- Pack or duffel with your personal gear (packing list on the permission form)
- Sack dinner for the road Friday
- Class A uniform
- Meet at 5:30 pm Friday
For Scouters:
Once again, Troop 1001 will be camping at Quail Alley (Mr. Ken Raney's ranch) outside Breckinridge, Texas, for the Fishing, Archery and Shooting Campout on the weekend of October 19-21, 2007. This annual October event has long been a tradition for the troop and is always one of the best campouts of the year.
Scouts should be at the church parking lot no later than 5:30 p.m. on Friday evening in Class A uniform. We will be returning about 12:45 p.m. Sunday to the hospital parking lot across Campbell Road.
Each patrol will cook its own breakfast and lunch Saturday and will prepare a side dish to share at dinner to accompany the main course prepared by the adults. If you did not pay $10 Monday for shotgun shells and the main course at the Saturday night dinner, bring it Friday in addition to $10 for your patrol's food.
