I believe you are all bringing your equipment to load tonight (Friday) at 5:00pm. Being as it is just an overnight, you don’t need much- just check the list on the Oak Leaf web page! Candidates meet at TBC at 6:00 am Saturday!
It looks like there will be enough room between Mr. Coon and Mr. Roberts to take most or all the boys Saturday morning if the gear gets packed in the trailer t onight. If a lot of people show up Saturday AM with gear, then we will need an extra vehicle for sure! If anyone else cares to drive up with scouts, they are welcome to. Volunteers so far are Tanna Van Hamme (3 scouts) and William Chang (5 scouts).
Be advised going up this is a "drop off" scenario. The scouts should have all their paperwork in hand (med forms w/medicines listed on med forms with dosage, times, etc...) personal gear, sack lunch, and whatever else is on the list. They will get in line with the other 100 boys, be checked in, and be assigned to a patrol immediately and off they go.
As for graduation, I am told it will be around 10:30ish Sunday, and you will be out of camp by 11:30 to noon. All parents are invited to attend graduation. You may take your son home directly after checking him out with Scoutmaster Coon. Before you leave, lets make sure every boy has a ride! It would be good to know today who is planning on coming up to get their boys.
