Boy Scout Troop 1001

Tonight there will be a PLC ONLY meeting tonight. We meet at 7:30 at the TBC. From there we will go to a nearby pizza restaurant for our meeting. Two deep leadership will be enforced and we will need a few scouters to help drive.

There are no merit badge class sessions tonight. Classes will resume next week.

Now the great news. Check out the North Trail District website to see Kane's elation for the results of Camporee 2007. If you have not heard yet, we won in almost every category entered. Here is the short list: Best Troop in District, Best Patrol in District, First in Firebuilding (no matches allowed), First in Signalling, First in Song. There were many other events we placed including Pie Eating and even the Scoutmaster's Chili took third place thanks to the special effort of Eagle Scouter Rogge H.

There are many people that make up this high performance team. Too many to thank by name. It would not excel without the help of each Scout and Scouter. I thank you all for making my job easy and fun.
