Cottonwood (THIS WEEKEND!) See the pdf updated sign-up sheet for Cottonwood. As you can see, it's looking okay, but there are still holes to plug. Everyone is "strongly encouraged" to help, both adults and scouts. The Patrol with the greatest participation for the weekend will be recognized at our Court of Honor (May 15). Sign-in at Troop Headquarters (south end of the festival) to get credit for your Patrol (or your son's patrol). Sign up for a slot or two with Linda Kaualoku [972-744-4611,  This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it ]

Troop Committee Meeting - Wednesday evening at 7 pm at Trinity Bible Church, Room 1. Topics are: Cottonwood, Scout Show, Court of Honor, Summer Camp, Annual Dues and Eagle Projects. Who could ask for more than that? All adults are welcome to attend.

Cottonwood Starts Friday - See pdf signup list for times and info.

We still need help in some slots, so come if you can. Location is just east of Coit on south side of Beltline. Our troop headquarters is at the south end near the pool.Bring rain gear, because we'll need you rain or shine!

Summer Camp Physicals - if your Scout didn't get a physical exam last year, he might need one this year. Scout class II medical forms are only valid for 3 years. ADULTS - if you will attend summer camp, schedule a physical exam with your doctor, and bring your class III medical form to fill in.

fishingFishing Merit Badge - Doug Miller, Roy Carnes and Dan Bryan hosted a fishing clinic on May 13 on a private ranch near Alma, Texas. We had 12 Scouts attend, some who needed to finish the Fishing merit badge.  Almost everyone caught fish, and we had a fish fry under some nice shade trees afterward, so it was a fun and successful day.
